Teens charged after making threats to school

The Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office has charged two juveniles with making unrelated threats to shoot up Cheraw High School and turned the teenagers over to the S.C. Department of Juvenile Justice for prosecution.

Chesterfield County Sheriff Jay Brooks said students were never in immediate danger at any time.

One threat was made by a 15-year-old, and the other was a 14-year-old student.
