McBee adopts curfew, announces changes

The Town of McBee has adopted a curfew that will begin Saturday, March 28. It will be from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. and will remain in effect until further notice.

The curfew does not apply to travel to and from work, medical providers, pharmacies, grocery stores, similar locations or any other essential businesses as may be designated by the governor of South Carolina or the Department of Homeland Security, nor is the curfew an order that any business, industry, etc., close during the curfew hours.

The town has also announced the following changes until further notice due to the Covid-19 Pandemic:
The regularly monthly town council meeting and budget workshop for April 7 have been cancelled.

Town hall offices will be closed until further notice. Payments can still be made online (www.townofmcbeesc.com) or the dropbox located at town hall.
For water emergencies, contact the after-hours line at (843) 409-2334.

More information will be posted to Breaking News as details become available.
