First I would like to commend you for publishing such a great paper at an reasonable price. Secondly, after reading the article about local pastors requesting the third week of April to be observed for Jesus, I am even more compelled to write to you and suggest that the "Link" reserve space in the newspaper for people of the community to share their testimonials about how their faith in Jesus has turned their lives around or maybe someone would like to recognize the progress of the Church's in the community. Pastors have a huge responsibility to the community and play a big role in the spiritual and physical well being of individuals who make up our communities, but their work is often overlooked and disregarded. Personally I've noticed that even within the business community senior citizens, police officers, teachers, even students of excellence are awarded discounts, free services, and the like; though, our spiritual leaders are lucky if they are offered a free drink of water. In my opinion, as this world seems to experience different adversities; this time is the right time to encourage and support our local spiritual leaders as well; for they also protect us, teach us, inspire us, lead us, and help us in many ways that many of us cannot even begin to understand. Thank you. Very truly, Loretta Hall Wright aka "VICTORY"

DEMAND CHANGE NOW IN Chesterfield County, SC. ''This situation will not change until community leaders are forced to change their ways'' Via Judith Langmaid of Paws n Claws: "Thanks to everyone working so hard to save these precious lives. I wanted to encourage you all to reach out to the local leadership and media sources, SC humane society and others to convey your outrage at the situation. The reality is that this situation will not change until community leaders are forced to change their ways! Until then the killing will continue and without space for these animals they will either attack one another (RIP Bessie) and they will be detroyed in a most cruel and inhumane manner. Countless animals have been stuffed into this gas chamber that is rusted out so that air escapes causing the animals to suffer a longer period, it can take them hours to suffocate to death. It is heartbreaking but it is the reality of this horrible situation. Only we can be the voice for these animals and only we can work TOGETHER to make a difference. Please I hope that you will take your passion and love for animals and take action to affect a change for the animals of Chesterfield County, SC.
