Arrests made in connection to armed robbery, Robinson death

The Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office has charged seven individuals in connection with a 2017 armed robbery that resulted in the death of 25-year-old Darius Robinson of Mt. Croghan.

Twenty-two-year-old Daquan Marquis Timmons of Monroe, N.C., and 19-year-old Jamison Jashawn Chambers of Wingate, N.C., are charged with the murder, as well as possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Also charged with taking part in the armed robbery are 17-year-old Milik Zyria Smith and 19-year-old Imija Kadrious Smith of Polkton, N.C., and 20-year-old Randi Samone Rivers of Wadesboro, N.C.

In addition, 24-year-old Laquesha Lashay Funderburk of Mt. Croghan has been charged with accessory before and after the fact of murder and has been arrested and released on bond.

Sheriff’s Office seeking Funderburk

Nineteen-year-old Taquacious Rasheeda Funderburk of Lancaster is also charged with armed robbery and is still being sought by law enforcement.
