Fatal Accident South of Cheraw

Chesterfield County Coroner Kip Kiser has confirmed the death of an individual in an automobile accident this afternoon. The name is being withheld pending notification of family.

A statement from the S.C. Highway Patrol said the accident occurred on Highway 52 south of Cheraw near Bethel Church Road.
