Mass COVAX event set at McBee High March 8
McBee High School, in conjunction with Carolina Pines Medical Center, is holding a mass COVID-19 vaccination event in the school’s gym Monday, March 8.
People in DHEC Phases 1A and 1B, in addition to anyone over 55, are eligible.
Staff from the three schools in the McBee attendance area – McBee High, McBee Elementary and Plainview Elementary – will be getting the first dose of the Pfizer COVAX beginning at 2 p.m.
Beginning at 3 p.m., McBee/Plainview businesses and community members may receive the vaccination. For more details, you may call McBee High at (843) 335-8251.
“Carolina Pines is a great medical provider, while McBee High principal, Dr. Josh McLaurin, and his staff are to be commended for getting this event set up on such short notice,” said Chesterfield County School District Superintendent Dr. Harrison Goodwin.
