Deputies investigating homicide

Chesterfield County Sheriff’s deputies and investigators are on the scene of a homicide in Jefferson on Poplar Knob Lane.

Capt. Wayne Jordan stated a male victim has died, and a female victim is in critical condition.

Jordan said a male suspect is in custody, and there is no threat to community.

The investigation is on-going at this time.
