Decomposed body found

Chesterfield County Sheriff James Dixon has confirmed a decomposed body has been found in a residence on Cane Patch Road.

An autopsy will be performed, but Dixon said the person could have died of a drug overdose.

The name of the deceased has not been released pending notification of the family.
