Sheriff asks public’s help regarding shooting, attempted theft

The Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s help in locating suspects involved in two separate incidents that occurred yesterday afternoon and early this morning.

Shooting on Brahma Lane

A 19-year-old from Cheraw, Joshua Emmanuel Sellers of 81 Hailey Lane, is wanted for aggravated assault in connection with a shooting that occurred on Brahma Lane in Cheraw on Sunday afternoon.

Attempted theft of ATM

The CCSO is also seeking information about the attempted theft of an ATM machine at Citizens Bank on N. Seventh Street in McBee during a storm early this morning. Three suspects were seen on video surveillance fleeing from the scene.

Anyone with information about either of these events or any of the suspects is asked to contact the Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office at (843) 623-2101.
