The Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence on Cleveland Street in the Cheraw area of Chesterfield County during the early morning hours of July 26 because of a homicide.

With the assistance of CCSO employees, Cheraw Police Department, Chesterfield County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division Crime Scene and Child Fatality Unit, six suspects were taken into custody within 15 hours of the homicide.
