Cheraw police search for armed suspect

The Cheraw Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating the person pictured above.

Cheraw police officers were dispatched April 12 to an armed robbery at the Refuel store located at 711 Market St., according to a report from CPD. When units arrived, store employees told them a white male came into the store and went to the register, then pulled a gun and asked the cashier for the money in the register.

After the cashier complied, the subject left in a black pickup truck and went east on Market Street. The subject reportedly had blue tape over the vehicle tag.
