County Council/Administration Office hit with COVID-19
The Chesterfield County Council/Administration office has released the following statement:
As of yesterday, August 18, 2020, a number of employees in the County Council/Administration Office tested positive for COVID-19.
Given the relatively small staff (eight full-time employees), which has now been reduced by about half, the next couple of weeks are going to be a challenge, but we are committed to continuing to provide services to citizens of the county.
Depending on the availability of staff, calls to the County Council Office may roll over to Emergency Management. We ask for your patience during this time.
As of this time, no other offices in the Administration Building are affected.
More information will be posted to Breaking News as details become available.
