Two people found dead at a Cheraw motel

Officials from the Chesterfield County Coroner’s Office have confirmed an investigation involving two people found dead at a Cheraw motel on Sunday.
“It is still an active investigation,” said John James, chief deputy coroner for Chesterfield County. “No names are given at this time.”
The deaths are being investigated by the Cheraw Police Department and Chesterfield County Coroner’s Office with assistance from the Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office.
