Five-Day classroom instruction delayed
The Chesterfield County School District has announced the plan to return to five-day face-to-face instruction for primary, elementary, and intermediate students has been delayed to Nov. 9 because of a delay in receiving plexiglass partitions for the classrooms.
Those primary, elementary and intermediate students will continue on the A-B hybrid schedule.
CCSD received notice of the delay from the state department of education. The anticipated date of Nov. 9 is based on a projected timely delivery of plexiglass partitions, which are necessary to protect the safety and welfare of CCSD students and staff.
More information will be posted to Breaking News as details are made available.
