McBee High merits safe sports award

McBee High School recently earned the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Safe Sports School Award (First Team) for its middle and high school athletics program. The award emphasizes safety and recognizes secondary schools that have met the recommended standards to improve safety in sports as managed by certified athletic trainers. The award, which is bestowed for a three-year period and expires in January 2024, reinforces the importance of providing the best level of care, injury prevention and treatment.
