Several vaccine clinics have been scheduled or rescheduled for residents of Chesterfield County.
Mass COVAX rescheduled for Central and Cheraw high schools
The mass COVID-19 vaccination events for school district employees that were originally scheduled at Central and Cheraw high schools for this week have been rescheduled for 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday, March 23, in the Central and Cheraw high school gyms. A valid photo ID is required.

Vaccine clinic in Pageland on Tuesday
Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center is again partnering with Pageland leaders Tuesday, March 23, to host a pop-up vaccine clinic at the Pageland Community Center, located at 1113 W. McGregor Street, in Pageland. The event will be held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
There are no appointments necessary and no wait times. This event is open to individuals in Phase 1A and 1B of SC DHEC’s vaccine plan. For more information on who is included in Phase 1A and 1B, visit scdhec.gov/covid19/covid-19-vaccine.
Columbia VA expands COVAX eligibility
The Columbia VA Health Care System has opened its COVID-19 vaccination program to military veterans of all ages who are currently enrolled to receive VA health care.
Veterans desiring to get the COVID-19 vaccine should call (803) 776-4000, ext. 1-2873, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday to schedule an appointment.
Vaccines are being provided at the William Jennings Bryan Dorn VA Medical Center in Columbia, as well as the Greenville, Florence, Orangeburg and Sumter community-based outpatient clinics. Times and dates of availability vary with each location, so scheduling appointments is essential. There are no walk-in appointments.
