Pageland Police name person of interest in Reid disappearance

The Pageland Police Department has named Emanuel Bedford as a person of interest in the disappearance of 41-year-old Deidre Reid.

A statement from the Pageland Police Department said the PPD is actively working with the State Law Enforcement Division, Charlotte Mecklenburg PD and several Georgia agencies to determine Reid’s whereabouts.

Reid was last seen Sept. 3 at 112 E. Turner St. in Pageland before she took her son’s father, Emanuel Bedford, to the Greyhound bus station in Charlotte, N.C.

She was wearing gray sweatpants and a pink and white shirt, along with white Air Force One shoes. Reid was driving a gray/champagne colored 2004 Tahoe SUV with S.C. tag FXU 718. There was also an NY Giants tag on the front of the vehicle.

The PPD asks if anyone has information about Reid or her missing 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe to contact the Pageland Police Department immediately at (843) 672-6437.
