Fatality on Highway 1 at Old Creek Road

A traffic accident this afternoon on Highway 1 at the intersection with Old Creek Road, just a few miles south of McBee, has resulted in the death of one of the drivers, according to the S.C. Highway Patrol.

Chesterfield County Coroner said the deceased driver is from Tennessee but has not released any other information.

This is the second fatality at this location in less than three weeks.
