Shooting in Walmart parking lot
The Cheraw Police Department is continuing to investigate a shooting that occurred this afternoon about 3:50 p.m., according to a detective with the department.
The shooting reportedly took place during an altercation between two people in the Walmart parking lot on Chesterfield Highway. No one was injured.
The police department was able to identify the suspect, establish a perimeter and arrest the suspect.
The Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office assisted the CPD.
