Sheriff’s office raids cock fight

The Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office has raided a cock fighting ring and made multiple arrests, according to Sheriff Cambo Streater.

Streater said the CCSO received a tip about a cock fight in the Middendorf area. When deputies arrived at the scene, they discovered it was a large event.

“We’ve made a lot of arrests, maybe up to 40,” Streater said “We’ve rescued many birds and seized bird fighting equipment, such as spurs.”
