Man arrested for murder

A man from the Pageland area has been arrested for murder in the shooting death of another man in the Pageland area.

The Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office was notified about the shooting early this morning, according to Sheriff Cambo Streater. He said the CCSO was told someone had been shot and needed medical attention.

Streater said when deputies responded, they found Zycheaus Moore to be dead from a bullet wound to the chest.

Streater added further investigation led to the arrest of Arious Trayvon Crawford, who was charged with murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime

“This is still under investigation,” said Streater. “If anyone has any information about the incident, we ask them to call the sheriff’s office at (843) 623-2101.”
