Two-vehicle collision results in fatality near Pageland

The S.C. Highway Patrol reported a fatality after a two-vehicle collision on Nov. 7  near Pageland.

According to Master Trooper Gary Miller, around 2:10 p.m., on Airport Road at Coon Creek Road, two miles east of Pageland.
Miller said the driver of a 1997 International tractor-trailer was traveling north on Airport Road.

The driver of a 2004 Chystler minivan was attempting to turn left from Coon Creek Road onto Airport Road when the tractor-trailer struck the minivan.
The collision resulted in the death of the driver of the minivan, who was the only occupant of the vehicle.
