Two men face several counts of cattle theft

Two men are facing several charges after the theft of cattle.
This week, the Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office investigated the theft of 17 cattle from a pasture on Glory Road in the Mt. Croghan area of the county.
Officials said during the investigation, Richard Owensby, 29, and Kipp Tyner, 30, were taken into custody and charged with 17 counts each of larceny of livestock.
They are currently held in the Chesterfield County Detention Center.
Officials said all cattle were located.
