Fugitive wanted in May kidnapping is being returned to Chesterfield County

rder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and impersonating a law enforcement officer in a May 28 kidnapping, was found in Mississippi.
According to Fox 13 news station in Mississippi, the Tunica County Sheriff’s Office received a tip that Perez was visiting a casino there, and she was apprehended.
Chesterfield County Sheriff Cambo Streater said Perez, released on bond in Union County, left North Carolina.
“We put the information on the National Crime Information Center, and she was picked up in Mississippi,” he said. “She is being brought back by the U.S. Marshals.”
Perez, her two sons, and another man face several charges stemming from the kidnapping of a woman and her son.
The woman and her son were taken by force from their home and were found eight hours later.
Hunter Ricci, 21, was charged with kidnapping, first-degree burglary, impersonating a law enforcement officer, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and grand larceny.

In the Fox 13 news report, Streater said, “She needs to be in jail. These are very, very serious charges, and she needs to be in jail. The bond needs to be high enough so she probably cannot secure the
bond to get out.”
