CCSO searches for suspects in robbery of Dollar General in Patrick

Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating and searching for the two suspects after a Wednesday evening (Sept. 4) robbery at the Dollar General in Patrick.
Sheriff Cambo Streater said two males went into the store, located on Highway 1 in Patrick, at almost 10 p.m. “They had on face masks and gloves,” he said. “Both of them had guns, and they robbed the store.”
After the suspects left the store with an undisclosed amount of money, store employees called 911.
“We tracked them to a road not far away where there were tire tracks,” said Streater. “It appears they had a car stashed, or somebody picked them up.”
He added the case is still under investigation.
