Cheraw man charged with trafficking methamphetamine

Cheraw man was arrested Friday, Sept. 27, after being found with 26 grams of methamphetamine during a traffic stop.
According to Chesterfield County Sheriff Cambo Streater, the Narcotics Unit seized the methamphetamine during a lawful traffic stop in the Cheraw area.

Zackary J. Register of Cheraw was arrested and charged with trafficking methamphetamine.
Streater said the operation was part of a broader effort to combat the escalating drug trafficking issues in the area.
He added the Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office is dedicated to ensuring community safety and will persist in its proactive stance against drug-related crimes.
