Final two of four escaped inmates captured

A remaining two of four inmates who escaped from the Chesterfield County Detention Center were captured in Darlington on Friday, Oct. 25.
Chesterfield County Sheriff Cambo Streater confirmed the arrest of inmates De’ Shawn Malik Fox and Kyonne Marquise McLeod.
Fox and McLeod were arrested by the Darlington Police Department for trespassing, resisting arrest, and possession of marijuana
Both are currently being held in the Darlington County Detention Center.
Streater added while these arrests return all four escaped inmates to custody, his office is continuing to investigate the circumstances that led to the escape on Tuesday, Oct. 15.
Streater thanked all law enforcement agencies that assisted in apprehending the inmates.
