Investigation continues in Macedonia Church Road shooting 

The Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office has released more details about a shooting that resulted in three people being shot on Macedonia Church Road on Monday, May 26.
According to Sheriff Cambo Streater, deputies received a report of a shooting at a ballfield on Macedonia Church Road in the Cash community at 7:58 p.m. Monday.
Once on the scene, deputies found a 16-year-old female juvenile from Cheraw and Tanijha Bright, 18, of Cheraw, with gunshot wounds to their back areas.
Streater said both were transported to an area hospital for treatment.
At the same time, deputies learned of a vehicle involved in the shooting traveling south on Hwy 52.
Streater said dispatch advised the occupants of the vehicle to pull over on Camp Coker Road in Society Hill. When deputies made contact with the vehicle, they found Tylis Isaac, 19, of Bennettsville, with a gunshot wound to the head. Isaac was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
Streater said the three were shot in the shooting incident that started at the Macedonia Church Road ballfield.
He added that the Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating the shooting and has several persons of interest.
“Investigators are continuing to interview witnesses, collect evidence, and review any available footage,” said Streater.
