Multiple arrests made in Macedonia Church Road shooting

The Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office has arrested several individuals in the Macedonia Church Road shooting that resulted in the death of a Bennettsville man and two others injured.
Sheriff Cambo Streater said 18-year-old Rayonta Rayvon Buchanan, 18-year-old Mystery Jason Delante Powe, and a 17-year-old juvenile were charged with murder, three counts of attempted murder, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime in connection with the death of Tylis L. Isaac, 19.
The shooting occurred near a ballfield on Macedonia Church Road at 7:58 p.m. Monday, May 26. It resulted in Isaac, a 16-year-old female juvenile and Tanijha Bright, being shot.
Streater said three females have been charged with accessory before and after the fact of a felony (murder).
They are Layla Amani Myers, 18, of Chesterfield; Undrea Sanya Edwards, 18, of Wadesboro, N.C.; and a juvenile, who has been sent to the Department of Juvenile Justice.
Streater said arrest warrants were obtained after investigators gathered substantial evidence linking these suspects to the crime, including witness statements and surveillance footage.
He praised the relentless efforts of investigators and urged anyone with further information to come forward.
“This case involved multiple victims, and our investigators worked around the clock to identify those responsible,” said Streater. “We are continuing to seek justice for the victims and families impacted by this violence.”
