Chisholm charged in connection with 1998 criminal sexual conduct case

After an extensive investigation, officials with the Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office have arrested a Patrick man in connection with a 1998 criminal sexual conduct investigation.
According to Sheriff Cambo Streater, Charlie Leavern Chisholm, 51, of Patrick, was arrested Tuesday, June 3, and charged with criminal sexual conduct with a minor, second-degree.
This case stemmed from an incident that occurred in 1998.
Chisholm was taken into custody without incident and was transported to the Chesterfield County Detention Center.
“This arrest is a testament to our office’s commitment to pursuing justice for victims—no matter how much time has passed,” said Streater.
