Car chase ends in Snow Hill

A car chase that began this evening in Cheraw ended when the driver wrecked his vehicle and took to the woods in the Snow Hill area, according to Chief Deputy Cambo Streater with the Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office.

Streater said a female and baby who were in the car at the time of the wreck were transported to McLeod Health Cheraw to be checked out.

Tracking dogs were used to locate the driver, who was also taken to MHC.

Streater expects charges to be filed.
