Goodwin confirms statement about Braves coaching

Chesterfield County School District Superintendent Dr. Harrison Goodwin just confirmed the statement he gave to The Link last night.

“Cheraw High School Athletic Director Coach David Byrd will coach the Braves football team in their first game of the season Friday night against Darlington.” 

Goodwin added any comments that contradict his original message are not correct.
