Pageland police chief tests positive for COVID-19

The Town of Pageland has announced Police Chief Craig Greenlee was diagnosed with COVID-19 today, according to a press release from town attorney Adam Foard.

The release states Greenlee self-quarantined on March 27 upon noticing symptoms to protect his family, co-workers and the public.

Officers and town employees who have come in contact with Greenlee have been directed to self-quarantine pending evaluation by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control. 

Chesterfield County Sheriff James Dixon has been notified and will be providing deputies to assist with Pageland Police Department operations.
