Natalie Marie Allen
CHERAW – Natalie Marie Allen, 45, passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021. Born, April 11, 1976, in Charleston, SC, she was the daughter of Mr. Jack D. Allen and Mrs. Beverly Harkins Allen. Natalie loved cooking and singing as well as spending time with her daughters and granddaughter. She also enjoyed shopping, decorating, and going to the beach. Natalie had an infectious laugh and always wanted to share that with everyone.
She was preceded in death by an infant child; her paternal grandparents, John B. and Gladys S. Allen; and her maternal grandmother, Alice Nelson.
Natalie leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughters, Alyssa German, Madison German, and Savannah German all of Cheraw, SC; her parents, Jack and Beverly Allen of Cheraw, SC; a brother, Mark Allen and wife, Carol Ann of Cheraw, SC; a granddaughter, Ava Brown; niece and nephew, Taylor Allen and Ty Allen; a special best friend, Dawn Patterson of Arkansas; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, October 4, 2021, at McColl Pentecostal Fire Baptized Holiness Church in McColl, SC. Burial followed at Rogers Cemetery in McColl, SC. The family received friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. just prior to the service on Monday at the church.

Kenneth Roger Cassidy
CHESTERFIELD – Mr. Kenneth Roger Cassidy, age 81, entered into rest on Saturday, October 2, 2021. The family will host a Celebration of Life service at 3 O’clock PM on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Lower Macedonia Baptist Church by Pastor Tracy Hinson. The family will greet friends from 2 to 3 PM at the church prior to the service.
Mr. Cassidy was born November 14, 1939 in Chesterfield, SC a son of the late Benjamin Carson and Pauline White Cassidy. He was a retired employee of Burlington and Highland Industries combined for over 40 years. He was a member of Lower Macedonia Baptist Church, where he served as a former deacon for many years. Kenneth was an avid collector of antiques, especially cars, radios, and clocks. He was a ham radio operator under the handle KV4AX, and developed many friendships through the years. Roger also enjoyed raising and training dogs.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Cassidy was also preceded in death by his wife, Lynda Faye Cassidy; brothers Randal Cassidy, B.C. Cassidy; sister, Deloris Moore; daughter-in-law Sherrie Lynn Cassidy.
Survivors include his children, Kenny (Carolyn) Cassidy of Chesterfield, SC, Michael (Vivian) Cassidy of Cheraw, SC, Ladonna (Ricky) Stafford of Chesterfield, SC, and Joe Williams of Chesterfield, SC; numerous grandchildren and great – grandchildren; brother, Larry Cassidy of Maggie Valley, NC; sisters, JoAnne (Woody) Evans of Lexington, SC, and Carolyn (Tom) Parker of Jacksonville, FL; special friend, Eva Williams of Chesterfield, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Hannah Grace Cooke
CHESTERFIELD – Hannah Grace Cooke, infant daughter of Grant and Kristin Cox Cooke, died Thursday, September 30, 2021. She blessed us and brought us more joy than we ever knew was possible in her sweet life! Hannah Grace (in 100 days) touched more lives and shined more brightly for God than many could in 100 years!
Surviving are her parents, Grant and Kristin Cox Cooke of the home, a brother, Samuel Cooke, a sister, Mariah Cooke, paternal grandparents, Harold and Tamera Sikes Cooke of Dillon, SC, maternal grandparents, Jonathan and Angela Faile Cox of Pageland, SC, paternal great grandparents, Billie Sikes of Chesterfield, SC, Martha Cooke of Dillon, SC, maternal great grandparents, Howard and Nellie Cox of Greensboro, NC, Peggy Faile of Rock Hill, SC, also, many aunts, uncles, cousins, great aunts and great uncles.
The family received friends 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM Saturday, October 2, 2021 at the home of Billie Sikes and Glenda Freeman, 154 Ora Lane, Chesterfield, SC. A funeral service was held at 4:00 PM, Sunday, October 3, 2021 at Hopewell Baptist Church, Chesterfield, SC. Burial was in the church cemetery

CHERAW – Funeral services were held Thursday, September 30, 2021, at 12PM from the Pee Dee Union Baptist Church, Cheraw, SC. Burial followed in the Montrose Cemetery, Cheraw, SC. She was born December 24, 1957 in Cheraw, SC to the late Melton and Gladys McQueen Ellerbe. Survivors: a daughter, Jillianne Shannon, Elgin, SC; two brothers, Otis Scott (Sharon), Savannah, GA and Melton Ellerbe, Jr., Southern Pines, NC; two sisters, Nelvin Ellerbe, Cheraw, SC and Nancy Crawford (Marcus), Charlotte, NC; a granddaughter, Artura Shannon, Elgin, SC; five cousins, Jessie Ford, Charlotte, NC, Willie Magwood, Baltimore MD, Barbara Sharper, Dorothy Wilson and Junetta

David Ray Fegurgur
HARTSVILLE – Mr. David Ray Fegurgur, 46, of Hartsville, SC, and originally from Sinajana, Guam, died on Friday, September 24, 2021. Born August 18, 1975, he was a son of the late Ricardo M. Fejeran and the late Teresita Toves Fegurgur. David Served his country proudly in the United States Army.
Along with his parents, listed above, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Luis Aflleje and Felicidad M. Fejeran; maternal grandparents, Felix S.N. and Maria T. Fegurgur; and numerous aunts and uncles and their spouses.
David leaves behind to cherish his memory his son, David Bryce Fegurgur; daughter, Makaila Teresita Fegurgur; brother, Jesse Fegurgur and wife, Valerie; sister, TerikaJoi Fegurgur; nieces and nephews, Kaleb, Kyle, Jase, Eliana, Leiani, and Teresa; and numerous other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A funeral mass will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, October 8, 2021, at Saint Peters Catholic Church in Cheraw, SC. Burial will follow at Old Saint David’s Cemetery in Cheraw.
The Family will receive friends and have a rosary service from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 7, 2021, at Kiser Funeral Home in Cheraw, SC; and again from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 8, 2021 prior to the service at Kiser Funeral Home.

Joyce Ann McQueen
CHESTERFIELD – Miss Joyce Ann McQueen, age 57, entered into rest on Wednesday, September 29, 2021. Funeral services were held at 3:00 PM Sunday, October 3, 2021 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Pastor Scott Adams with burial following in the David’s Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home. The services were streamed live on the Miller Rivers Caulder Facebook Page.
Miss McQueen was born June 26, 1964 in Bermuda, a daughter of William B. “Bill” McQueen, Jr. and the late Barbara Adams McQueen. She was a member of David’s Grove Baptist Church. Joyce enjoyed talking on the phone, riding her 3-wheeled bicycle, watching soap operas, and shopping. She had a special bond with her beloved dog, “Tinkerbell.”
In addition to her mother, Miss McQueen was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Bradley and Mary Lee Adams, and William B. and Hettie McQueen.
Survivors include her father, Bill McQueen, Jr. of the home; sisters, Laurie (Rev. John) Gulliksen of Hahira, GA, and Susan (Henry) Heatley of Cross, SC; nephew, Stephen (Victoria) Heatley; nieces, Lauren (Kenny) Brady, Kelsey (Jeremy) Mathis, Maggie Heatley, and Katie Heatley; great nephew, Colton Brady; uncles & aunts, Donnie & Margaret Adams, Joe & Pat Adams, and Brenda Grimm; in addition to numerous cousins and friends.
The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to caregivers, Mary McCoy, Stacey Gooden, Mary Sellers, and Dawna Rushing; the staff and administration of McLeod Health – Cheraw; and the staff and administration of McLeod Hospice for the extraordinary care and love shown to Joyce and their family.
