Unofficial elections results from June 10 primary

Here are the unofficial election results from the June 10 primary for Chesterfield County.
Election results will be certified at 10 a.m. June 13 at the Chesterfield County Voter Registration office.

U.S. House of Representatives District 7
Mal Hyman had 2,610 (50.82%), while Daryl W. Scott had 12,205 votes (49.18%).
Hyman will face incumbent Republican U.S. Rep. Russell Fry on the ballot in November.
In Chesterfield County, Hyman received 377 votes (56.10%), and Scott received
 295 votes (43.90%).

State Senate District 27
Allen Blackmon had 6,095 votes (82.08%) to
Sen. Penry Gustafson’s 1,331 votes (17.92%).
Blackmon will be on the ballot in November against Democrat candidate Yokima Cureton.
In Chesterfield County, Blackmon had 1,785 votes (75.48%), while Gustafson had 580 votes (24.52%).

State House of Representatives District 54
Jason Scott Luck received 1,821 votes (53.14%) to defeat Betty Jo Quick, who received 1,606 votes (48.86%).
Luck will face Republican Sterling McDiarmid in November.
In Chesterfield County, Luck had 186 votes (45.81%), and Quick had 220 votes (54.19%).

Solicitor Circuit 4
Mike Burch had 5,289 votes (54.20%), while Shipp Daniel had 4,469 votes (45.80%).
Burch will face Democrat Monty Bell on the November ballot.
In Chesterfield County, Burch received 2,283 votes (76.30%), while Daniel received 709 votes (23.70%).

Clerk of Court
Incumbent Christy F. Gaddy had 1,675 votes (56.15%) to defeat challenger Suzanne Eddins, who had 1,308 votes (43.85%).
Gaddy will not have a Democratic opponent in November.

County Council District 5
Challenger Eddie Kirkley received 382 votes (86.62%) to defeat incumbent Benjamin H. Conklin Jr., who received 59 votes (13.38%).
Kirkley will not have a Democratic opponent in November.
