Ruth Curtis Parker
CHESTERFIELD – Mrs. Ruth Curtis Parker, age 76, entered into rest on Friday, September 13, 2024 at her home. Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM Monday, September 16, 2024 at Pine Grove Baptist Church by Pastor Mark Phillips with burial following in the church cemetery. The family greeted friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM Monday, prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Parker was born August 15, 1948 in Chesterfield, SC a daughter of the late William Isom and Beulah Moore Curtis. She was a retired employee of Wal-Mart with over 30 years of service. Ruth was a faithful member of Pine Grove Baptist Church where she served on the bereavement committee and was active in the WMU for many years. A lady who loved spending time with her family, she enjoyed traveling, spending time at Lake Tillery and the beach, but most of all cherished time spent with her grandson.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Parker was also preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Olin D. Parker; and brother-in-law, Bill Parker.
Survivors include her daughter, Tina Parker (Jay) Saffel of Chesterfield, SC; grandson, Curtis (Sherry) Boatwright of Cheraw, SC; sister, Ann McDonald of Mullins, SC; sister-in-law, Bonnie Parker of Hartsville, SC; sisters of the heart, Sue (Gerald) Jordan of Mt. Croghan, SC, and Anita Hunter of Chesterfield, SC; in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.

Eulah Faye Stevens
Mrs. Eulah Faye Stevens, 80, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2024. Born, July 14, 1944, in East Rockingham, NC, she was a daughter of the late Junior and Vera Leviner Stevens. Faye was a CNA and loved nursing. She also loved dogs, reading and fishing.
Along with her parents, listed above, she was preceded in death by a brother, Archie Stevens; sisters, Shirley Stevens, Evelyn McCormick, and Virginia Lee.
Faye leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son, William Clinton “Clint” Robinson (Mandy) of Wallace, SC; a daughter, Angela R. Reeves (Harold) of Bennettsville, SC; a brother, Richard Stevens (Sandra) of Ellerbe, NC; sisters, Vivian Ferrel (Philip) of Peoria, IL, Mona Lisa Jordan (Edward) of Greenville, SC, and Carolyn Autry of Hamlet, NC; grandchildren, Anthony Reeves (Heather), Christopher Robinson (Staci), and Carrie Wilson (David); and great-grandchildren, Haley Reeves, Cody Reeves, Wyatt Wilson, and Maggie Wilson.
A funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Kiser Funeral Home in Cheraw, SC. Burial followed in Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens in Cheraw, SC.
The family received friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 13, 2024, at Kiser Funeral Home.
Kiser Funeral Home has been entrusted to serve the Stevens family in their time of grief.
