Jesse Lee Andrews

PATRICK – Mr. Jesse Lee Andrews, age 82, entered into rest on Wednesday, October 9, 2024. Funeral services were held at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 12, 2024 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Pastor Ricky “Sweet” Jenkins with burial following in the Grace and Mercy Worship Center Cemetery (Old Bethesda UMC Cemetery). The family greeted friends following the committal service at the cemetery. In keeping with Mr. Jesse’s wishes, everyone is invited to a celebration of life “Party” following the services at the home of Linda & Johnny Brown.

Mr. Andrews was born June 10, 1942 in Wadeville, NC a son of the late Earl and Ida Mae Goins Andrews. He was a retired truck driver with Lemons Backhoe and Loader Service. Jesse enjoyed attending Grace and Mercy Worship Center and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed cutting grass, riding around with his co-pilot Jonathan, and tinkering on anything and everything.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Andrews was also preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Andrews; sons, Tommy Andrews, and Jeffrey Andrews; step-daughter, Stephanie Taylor; brothers, Jack, Charles, Thurman, James “Cotton” Andrews; and sisters, Janie Dunn, Ruby Andrews, Virginia Parsons, and Betty Ann Hulin.

Survivors include his children, Debbie “Bobby” Brown of McBee, SC, Linda (Johnny) Brown of Patrick, SC, Lacey Andrews, and Laura Andrews both of Bristol, TN; grandchildren, Jessie (Bill) Altman, Jonathan Brown, Alyssa Brown, Tina (Kevin) Gaskins, Tabitha Brown, Regina (Corey) Blair, Jennifer Andrews, and Waylon Andrews; great grandchildren, Emelyn, Jackson, Logan, Lilyanna, Xander, Lelond, Kayden, KayleeA’nna, Tori, Kristian, Zeva, Lauren, Katie, Zoey, Reagan, Jacob, Tyler, and Jayden; great-great grandchild, Kendall; brother, Floyd Andrews of Starr, NC; closest friends, Randy Gulledge, and Duncan Lett.

In lieu of flowers, Mr. Jesse requested that donations be made to a cancer society of one’s choice.

Barbara White

CHERAW – Barbara Caulder White, age 77, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2024. Born on August 30, 1947, in McKinney, Texas, she was the beloved daughter of the late James Ernest and Mary Maxine Anderson Caulder.

Barbara was a devoted member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Teal’s Mill. Her professional journey included a successful tenure at Bo Buck Mills in Chesterfield, SC, followed by her service as a substitute teacher, where she enjoyed nurturing young minds.

A passionate individual, Barbara found joy in photography and frequented the Bargain Basket in Cheraw. However, her greatest joy came from spending quality time with her family, particularly her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents, listed above, Barbara was preceded in death by her sister, Donna McLeod.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her sons, Clyde White, Jr. (Alisha) of Rock Hill, SC, and Scott White (Susan Sellers) of Chesterfield, SC; a daughter Kim White Perhealth (Billy) of Wallace, SC; brothers, Randy Caulder (Terrie) of Cheraw, SC, and David Caulder (Janet) of Chesterfield, SC; and sister, Carolyn Winslow (Eulion) of Kings Mountain, NC; grandchildren, Christian, Lacey, Austin, Avery, Olivia, Aiden; and great-grandchildren, Macyn, Harper, Sadie, Teagen, Camila, and Natalie.

A funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 11, 2024, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Cheraw, SC. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

The family received friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Kiser Funeral Home in Cheraw, SC.

Kiser Funeral Home has been entrusted to serve the White family in their time of loss.
