Veterans Day Parade canceled due to cold temperatures but program will be moved inside Chesterfield County Courthouse

Due to expected cold temperatures on Tuesday, Nov. 11, the Chesterfield County Veterans Advisory Committee and the Office of Veterans Affairs have announced the cancellation of the parade portion of the 2025 Veterans Day program.
The program will take place at 10:30 a.m. inside the Chesterfield County Courthouse, where the community will gather to honor the service and sacrifice of United States military veterans.
All veterans, auxiliary units, and members of the public are encouraged to attend the ceremony to show their appreciation for those who have defended the nation’s freedoms.
The Chesterfield County Veterans Advisory Committee includes commanders from Cheraw American Legion Post 23, Chesterfield American Legion Post 74, Jefferson American Legion Post 80, Pageland American Legion Post 92, Chesterfield VFW Post 11251, and Cheraw DAV Chapter 50.
