John Marshall ‘Fuzzy’ Eubanks

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. — John Marshall “Fuzzy” Eubanks, 77, of Kannapolis, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at Atrium Health Cabarrus. He was born on November 22, 1948, to the late John E. Eubanks and Susie Rollings Eubanks.

John married the love of his life, Helen Kirkley on May 5, 1968, in Jefferson, South Carolina.

John served in the United States Navy from 1968-1972 during Vietnam. He was a hull maintenance technician. John worked many years with Joe Ervin Grading as a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed going fishing and playing golf. John was most fond of spending time with his grandchildren. John and Helen faithfully attended Fatih Baptist Church for many years.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 57 years, Helen; two daughters, LuAnn Campbell and Marsha (Todd) Honeycutt; four grandchildren, Damian Campbell, Alyssa (Tanner) Hartness, Krista Honeycutt and Evan Honeycutt; two sisters, Donna (Wayne) Johnson and Janice Eubanks; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded In death by his parents, John and Susie; one sister, Linda Kay Eubanks, his son-in-law, Brian Campbell and nephew, Wayne Marlin “Mark” Johnson, Jr.

John’s family received relatives and friends on Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Faith Baptist Church, 904 Chipola St, Kannapolis, NC 28083, for visitation. A funeral service was held at 2:00 PM with Pastor James Pauley officiating. Burial followed at Carolina Memorial Park with military honors.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Faith Baptist Church.
